Charging box

The unique Sierra charging box design enables to size material quickly and close the box without losing precious time.

The production capacity of any shear is determined by the amount of time needed to
close the charging box.

All Sierra charging boxes are fully lined with thick Hardox 450 plates.

Due to the curved lid design the volume of the open box is bigger than any other competing product.

Two cylinders per lid give the T505SLK ample force to size any kind of material.

The hinges are never exposed to scrap when the box is closed. This is the case on most competing machines.

Replacement of the hinges is a very expensive and time consuming issue.
Downtime of weeks must be calculated for this repair.

With the unique Sierra design replacement is not necessary as hinges are not subject to wear.

Solide Hydraulik stabilizators (Semimobile version)

The solid and heavy electro welded structure has to meet very strict quality control
procedures. All welds are checked by ultrasound in order to assure a long lifetime.

This solid construction contains the hold down clamp and the guillotine.
Both moving parts are automatically lubricated

The most important components of any shear are the hold down clamp and the guillotine. Sierra protects these parts by using bronze replaceable liner plates.


Only this system will guarantee a long life time to these important components.
